Rebecca Robertshawe, Director of Projects and Programmes within the Delivery team of Te Waihanga, the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission.  The NZ Commission has two main legislative roles.  Firstly, in infrastructure strategy and planning where it is responsible for the development of the 30-year national infrastructure plan, the national pipeline and the infrastructure priorities programme; and secondly the provision of advice to the Government and delivery agencies on the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure. Rebecca has worked across infrastructure delivery in both the public and private sectors combining specialities in legal, procurement, commercial and project delivery. She brings a pragmatic perspective to how infrastructure delivery is managed in practice and what system change is needed to help government be a better client of infrastructure. Rebecca is a determined advocate for improvement in the investment life cycle from procurement to project delivery and leadership.
